Lycian Art Movement Participation Terms

Last updated: October 2026

Please read the following terms before applying to the Lycian Art Movement. By ticking the consent box on the application form, you agree to these terms.

1. Purpose and Scope

The Lycian Art Movement is a voluntary community that aims to promote Lycia’s cultural heritage and nature through art and to contribute to their protection. Information and works shared through the application form are assessed in line with this purpose. Participation is free of charge and does not create any paid or employment relationship between the parties.

2. Copyright and Permission to Use

  • Copyright in all shared works (images, texts, videos, etc.) remains with the artist.
  • By giving consent on the application form, the participant allows their shared works to be published on the Voice of Lycia website and social media accounts, for the purpose of promoting the Lycian Art Movement, with the artist credited by name and free of charge.
  • This permission is non-exclusive. Artists remain free to use their works elsewhere as they wish.
  • Works will not be used for commercial purposes (sale, printing, advertising, etc.) without the artist’s separate written consent.
  • Artists may ask at any time for their works to be removed by writing to iletisim@likyaninsesi.com. Requests will be carried out within 15 days. Social media posts made or materials printed before the request may fall outside its scope.

3. Responsibility for Content

  • Participants confirm that the works they share are their own and do not infringe the rights of third parties.
  • If identifiable people appear in the works, participants are responsible for obtaining their permission.
  • For work carried out at ancient sites, national parks and protected areas (especially drone filming), participants are responsible for obtaining the necessary permits.
  • Legal responsibility arising from the content of the works rests with the participant.

4. Respect for Nature and Heritage

Participants agree to follow the principles of the Lycian Art Movement Manifesto and the rules of our Sustainable Travel and Ethics Guide. No harm may be done to ancient structures, vegetation or wildlife while creating work, and the locations of rare species must not be disclosed.

5. Assessment and Publication

Voice of Lycia assesses applications and shared works for their fit with the movement’s aims and principles, and reserves the right to decide which works are published, not published or removed. We cannot guarantee that every application will be published or answered.

6. Personal Data

Personal data shared on the application form (name, email, links) is processed only to assess the application and to contact the participant, in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). For details, please see our Privacy Notice (KVKK).

7. Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Applications from participants under 18 are accepted with the consent of a parent or guardian.
